Clarion Academy

My mom is moving to California and I'm living at boarding school for the year until she can get setteld and find us a place to live.  The Headmaster (really just the Old Guy, but he insists on being called the Headmaster) says we have to write home and I don't have any money for postage stamps, so I figured this blog was free and would be a good way for me to tell mom and anyone else who cares about my adventures.

Mom wanted me to be around more boys, so she sent me off to this place called Clarion Academy - kind of like Hogwarts but without any of the cool stuff.  It's a boys only school (except for Leia, the daughter of The Professor (really just That Woman, but she insists) and some cats, but who cares about cats.  The older boys are Zeke (why he hasn't graduated yet I don't know), Ryeleigh, the smart one, who knows all the angles), and Seamus, who is nice but not the brightest light on the tree if you know what I mean.

The old guy - err, Headmaster - says we have a lot to learn this year, things like "sit", "stay", "heel", "roll over", but Ryeleigh says mostly you can just ignore the lessons and as long as you don't eat too many shoes and things you will still get a treat when it's time to come home from camp (whatever camp is).

All in all, it doesn't seem like too bad a place.  I can hang here for a while.

  1. Inquiring minds want to know whether Evi will be learning to heal or to heel. If the former, as you've suggested, the Academy is more like Hogwarts than we've suspected.

  3. Evi-- be good in boarding school. I look forward to reading of your adventures. Not that I'm surprised, but impressed with your writing skills. You made me laugh a ton. Glad you're having fun! Miss you a lot.
