Who knew. We went out to the land today in a downpour to feed the chickens and take care of the few remaining greenhouse plants. I had a great time running in the rain with Seamus and Ryeleigh, got my ration of dog treats and jumped in the truck for the ride home. Then it happened.
The Headmaster had cut some shoots from the broccoli plants on the back porch - they are about done too, so is was time to cut them back. He put them in a box and put the box on the seat with me. Well, what does a dog do when something ii in range? He eats it, of course. I grabbed a piece of broccoli and chowed down. IT WAS GREAT, no matter what George H.W. Bush says. I went back several times and ate about half of the broccoli we had. Better than dog treats.
I may become a vegetarian (whatever that is).
Evi, Vegetarianism is an advanced state of being that one experiences when one avoids dead animals. Yes, not many members of boarding school enjoy it. Your sister Leia prefers rolling in dead animals and other smelly things!--The Professor
ReplyDeleteIf I can't roll in dead things I don't think I want to be a vegetarian.
